Importing data into your story is the first step when creating any data story.

How do I import data?

You can import data from a google sheet (recommended), copy and paste from an excel or csv file, or use one of our sample datasets.

How to import from a Google sheet?

1. Copy the URL from the address bar of the google sheet tab.

1. Paste it in the “Enter a Google sheet url address”

If the google sheet is accessible you can click “Next”. If not, make sure the google sheet is publicly accessible and then click Reload.

Choose the Sheet name you want to import.

Review your data. If everything is ok click ‘Import Data’. You can update the google sheet and then click Reload.

How many tables can I import to my Data Story?

Users in the Free plan can upload one table to each Data Story to each Data Story

Users in the Professional plan can upload up to 3 tables to each Data Story

Users in the Enterprise plan can upload unlimited tables to each Data Story
