Filters let readers filter the data.

Filter types

You can choose a display that fits the option you want to filter:

• Buttons - Choose this option if you have a few options to select.
• Dropdown - Autocomplete, use if you have many options.
• Open Search - Choose this if you have thousand of options
• Slider - Choose if you want to filter numeric data or dates.
• Slider range - Filter a range of data (i.e. from 5 to 10).
• Hidden Filter - Filter the data before the page loads. This filter is hidden from the reader.

To add a filter to your story:

1. From the editor → Add Element → Filter

2. Select a display type

3. Select a field to filter by. In this example we have selected “Season”:
