Display a number calculated from the data. If a filter is applied, the figure will change accordingly.

How do I add a figure to my data story?

1. In the editor → Add Element → Figure
2. Select a template:

1. Select a field to calculate the figure from.

   1. Count rows (default) - Displays the number of rows in your data.

      

   2. For numeric fields - you can display the average, the minimum or maximum value.

      

      Select Average Age

      

      Displays average age

   3. For textual fields - you can display the number of rows (count) or the number of unique values (distinct count). Select “None” to display the value from the first row found.
